Not been much interesting in the world of Viral Videos this week, but I did come across this gem.
There has been a lot of hype about Ghostbusters recently as the Game for PS3 and Xbox 360 nears release as well as talk of a 3rd ghost buster film featuring the original cast. Having recently played the demo for the Ghostbusters game I can confidently say it does not follow the trend of usual bad adaptations of films to games. It features the voices of the original cast members, has a well written and unique story line and some awesomely chilling game play. The film is looking more promising as the days go buy to, with only Bill Murray yet to sign up claiming he will only join the cast for an exceptional scrip so as to not tarnish the original 2.
Also for any Ghostbusters fans, be sure to check out the film Zombieland. You have to watch it to know why.
Christmas is a time for giving. If you are struggling for gift ideas this year, why not buy something meaningful that will make a real difference in someones life, rather than picking up some crappy ill thought out piece of crap that will get thrown out within a day.
Charity gifts are perhaps the most generous you can be this Christmas. Does your brother really need a new pair of shoes? Will a Xbox 360 really make a positive impact on your life? By giving a charity gift this Christmas, you can make a huge positive impact on peoples lives, instead of throwing away your money on something with no meaning or use. Even the smallest of things like charity Christmas cards can make a massive impact for those living in poverty.
Here is a rundown of the best Charity Gifts available this Christmas:
Safe Water For 10 People
For only £9 you can bring safe water for 10 people in places where water is a scares resource. Could you imagine life without water? It’s a reality for millions of people in poorer countries and this gift can provide something that we simply cannot live without.
For only £175 UNICEF provide schooling for over 40 children during times of emergency. Each child in the class receives their own set of school supplies, such as exercise books, pens, pencils and erasers, which they can take home in a durable plastic schoolbag to study at home. The box also includes a solar/wind-up radio, inflatable globe for geography lessons, wooden teaching clock, plastic cubes for counting and a set of three laminated posters.
A goat may not mean much to us in the developed world, but in poorer countries it can make a big impact on the life of a family. At only £25, a Goat provides a family with milk to drink, fertiliser to help their crops and eventually can give them more goats to sell on to other families.
Build a Library
Education can make a huge impact poor parts of the world. Over time it can proved people with the knowledge and skills to build their communities and live happier lives. For only £429 you can bring a library to a community, fill it with books and install computers.
Well I have just sold my much beloved car. It was too tiny for my stuffs. So now I’m scouting the internets for decent vans that are both pimping and sizeable for my stuffs. Lets check out some of the best vans for sale online.
VW Camper vans are as pimping as they come. They are timeless classics that have seen huge demand over the past few years. But they are old, and are not very sizeable. Demand has made them so valuable now that you could probably buy a brand new showroom van for less than one of these. But they are awesome.
The A Team Van
Why am I including a van from a TV Show? Not only because its awesome, but because its real and its for sale. Your’s for the tidy sum of £30,000 its not cheap, but it could directly help you destabilize a whole country or bring down a terrorist organisation. It’s big pimping. If you can’t afford the price tag it’s also available for van hire with your own personal chauffeur.
Ford Transit Van
Think of vans and this is probably the first to come into your head. It’s the bog standard typical white van man van and thus has a pimp factor of nil. But it’s cheap, practical, comes in a range of sizes including mahoosive. It’s a big contendor.
The new kid on the block? The transporter has been around longer than you think. The T1 was the natural sequel to the VW Camper van above but was smacked by the ugly stick. But the latest T5 is refined and beautiful. It maintains the modern practicalities of size, reliability and value whilst regaining some of its pimping roots. This is the modern man’s van, and it looks awesome.
