Tune of the Day: Artificial Sun

Keeping it fresh this today with exciting new electronica/indie sounding “As the Stars Fall”. If I had to compare them to anyone I would say they are kind of a cross between Mogwai, 65DaysOfStatic and The Cinematic Orchestra. An awesome combo. Here is there best track that I have heard so far, Artificial Sun.

Tune of the Day: Crystalised (Cover)

I don’t usually find my tracks of the day from the Viral Video Chart, but this time I did. I like the XX, but it really surprises me that they are so widely popular at the moment. Their soft style of minimal electronica has caught the attention of everyone, notably winning them this years mercury music prize. But perhaps even more telling is Damon Albarn of Gorillaz, a man of great music taste, to pick one of their tracks to cover in Radio1′s live lounge. Here is a their cover of “Crystalised”.
